Christ Church C of E Primary School is for boys and girls from 4 to 11.
The school was opened as the village church school in 1843 and has been extended over the years and at present accommodates children in 10 classes (including the Nursery).Attractive displays of children’s work are used to enhance the interior appearance, and to make the school a place of warmth and welcome.The school works in liaison with Brook Acre, and Cinnamon Brow Primary Schools, and especially closely with Lysander High School. Most of our children go to Lysander High School at age 11, we also have children going to Birchwood High School, Culceth High school and occasionally some children sit the entrance exams for the Grammar schools in Trafford.
